Write to Christian Prisoners
Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also. Hebrews 13:3
Get the facts about Christians imprisoned around the world and act to help comfort them. When you join the Be-A-Voice Network you will receive prisoner fact sheets about imprisoned Christians and instructions on how to write to them. Your words of encouragement can help them to be bold in their faith. Fact sheets include the details about the prisoner's punishment, an address where you can write the prisoner and phrases in the prisoner's language to use when writing.
- Sign up for the Be-A-Voice Network and commit to writing to Christian prisoners.
- Print or e-mail prisoner fact sheets. Give them out to your Bible study group, Sunday school class, gathering of Christian friends or any place where you can share the burdens of the persecuted church. Ask your friends, family and local church to write to the Christian prisoners. See sample Fact Sheet: Zhang Rongliang
- Become an advocate for Christian prisoners by writing letters to prisons and national and international politicians on behalf of those imprisoned for their faith. Encourage your friends and family to do the same. Your letters could help improve conditions for Christian prisoners or, praise God, ensure their release.
Note: You will only receive an emailed fact sheet when a new prisoner is uploaded to VOM's www.prisoneralert.com. For updates on prisoners, including new prison addresses, prison releases, charges and sentencing, please visit www.prisoneralert.com and view their profile.
